Through high-energy worship, interactive Bible stories, hands-on activities, and unforgettable fun, kids will discover that no matter how vast the universe feels, they are never out of God's reach.

VBS is open to kids and designed to create meaningful moments of faith, friendship, and joy.

Why does serving at VBS matter?
VBS isn’t just a fun week — it’s a week where kids grow in faith, build friendships, and discover who God created them to be. Your presence, encouragement, and faithfulness can make a lasting impact.
I’ve never served in Grove Kids before. Can I still volunteer?
Absolutely. You don’t need experience — just a willing heart. We provide training, clear instructions, and support every step of the way. Whether you’re leading a group, helping with activities, or assisting behind the scenes, you won’t be doing it alone.
What if I don’t feel “great with kids”?
There are so many ways to serve at Space Camp! From check-in and hospitality to crafts, setup, snacks, and small group support — not every role requires leading a group. We’ll help you find a spot that fits your gifts and comfort level.
What is the time commitment?
VBS runs June 1–4 from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM. Volunteers typically arrive a little early and stay a few minutes after for team huddles and wrap-up. Specific details will be shared closer to the week.
What if I’m not available every day of Space Camp?
No problem! While serving all four days helps with consistency for the kids, we know summer schedules can be full. Let us know your availability, and we’ll work with you to find the best fit. There’s a place for you on the mission.
What if I can’t serve during the week of VBS?
That’s okay! There are still plenty of ways to support Space Camp! We need help preparing supplies, decorating classrooms, setting up the week before, and praying for our kids and volunteers. If you’d like to be part of the mission leading up to VBS, let us know when you sign up and we’ll connect you with a team.
Will I need a background check?
Yes. For the safety of our kids, all volunteers must complete a MinistrySafe background check and training. If you haven’t completed this yet, we’ll send you the information after you sign up.

Grove Kids offers age-specific classes for children (birth to 5th grade) on Sundays. During Sunday services we create a safe, fun environment to learn about God and grow in faith, while equipping parents to guide their kids in following Jesus.
