Fighting Through Resistance

"No good deed goes unpunished," so the saying goes. Now not all sayings are true, but this sardonic expression has survived for a reason. There is a reality that good deeds often experience resistance. For Nehemiah, this is what happens. Maybe this is what is happening to you, too - you're trying to do a good work, but you keep experiencing resistance. Perhaps this resistance is criticism from friends or ridicule from a group, or maybe it's even flat-out hostility.
